My Mum and I absolutely loved completing the workshops together, Sarah helped us turn our ideas and sketches into amazing pieces of jewellery that are entirely one of a kind! Her patience when explaining the techniques and the hands on approach means we learnt enough that we can now try it out at home! I would definitely recommend these workshops for anyone curious about jewellery making or just wanting to try something fun!

“My sister and I attended a workshop recently, and simply had a brilliant day with Sarah.

She clearly has extensive knowledge and skills when it comes to making jewellery, and when you combine that with great patience, cool ideas, gentle encouragement and a relaxed and welcoming way of dealing with people, it all adds up to something pretty special.  I never thought I could end up with the pieces that I made, starting as a complete novice.  We’ll definitely be looking at doing another workshop when we can.  THANKS SARAH!”

I met Sarah Grant for the first time at the Artists Market in Castlemaine and was instantly drawn to her jewellery for its beauty, design and excellent craftsmanship. I have completed a full day workshop and two sets of 8 weeks at Sarah’s’ workshop located  in the peaceful town of Newbridge. I found Sarah to be an extremely patient, calm and easy to understand teacher.  Sarah encourages and assists her students to design their own projects, which meant I was able to make a unique item of jewellery to take home and be proud of and show off to all my friends and family. I’m looking forward to doing more classes with Sarah in the near future to continue to learn more advanced silver smithing techniques.
